Fabricated from **Grade 3.3 Borosilicate glass**, these adapters are designed to withstand high thermal gradients and maintain structural integrity under vacuum. The primary socket is aligned with the bottom cone, while the secondary socket is typically set at an angle (sloping) or parallel, depending on the specific procedural requirement.
Sloping Side Neck
The side neck is set at a 45 degree angle. This provides better clearance for adding liquid reagents via a dropping funnel while a center-mounted condenser is in use.
Parallel Configuration
Both necks are perfectly vertical, facilitating the use of mechanical overhead stirrers or sensors that must remain perpendicular to the flask base.
