What is it?

The Iodine Flask is a modified conical flask designed specifically for the determination of iodine values in oils, fats, and other organic compounds. It features a unique funnel-shaped cup around the neck and a precision-ground glass stopper. This "well" can be filled with a liquid seal (like Potassium Iodide solution) to prevent the escape of volatile iodine vapors during the reaction, ensuring highly accurate analytical results.
